This case study shows how our team helped the Montréal Exchange create a university partnership. The partnership contributed to the fund’s increased success by promoting its visibility among students in finance.

Working closely alongside the client, we devised three initiatives that would unite students, professors and universities around the Montréal Exchange:

The Exchange in derivative products’ grant: this initiative provided compensation for students conducting innovative research projects about the Montréal Exchange.
Options Trading Simulation: this initiative compensated students who “earned” the highest profits in a trading simulation. During the eight-week simulation, students worked with 30 securities using optional and mandatory strategies and a $100 000 portfolio.

Four years after launching the university partnership, the operation continues to enjoy immense success with 36 Canadian university partners, 5000 participating students, and dozens of available jobs in derivative products.
